Veteran's Day Parade

We got up early and went to the parade on Mill today. We thought it started at 9, but found out once we got there that it wasn't until 10 so had to figure out a way to keep an almost two year old occupied for an hour. Luckily there was a grassy area where we were sitting so Brooklyn could run around and get rid of some of that energy!

After what seemed like forever, the parade was finally off to a start.

Brooklyn had the best seat in the house.

Me and the kiddos. It was actually a very cool morning.

Brooklyn and daddy.

I thought these little old ladies with their mops were cute.

Grandpa and Grandma Bucy were in the parade! And it's hard to see, but their dog Jackson is with them in a little Harley jacket.

Brooklyn trying to see what's next.

The police officers on their motorcycles were really loud with their sirens!

I liked this clown. His sign said "Invisible Balloons for Sale $5" and he was just holding sticks.

Clown on his bike.

This clown was funny too. His cell phone rang while he was walking in front of us. He picked it up and was telling the other person "I can't talk right now, I'm in the middle of a parade". I don't know why, but that cracked me up!

Trenton had some milk and this is how he spent the rest of the parade... passed out!

Brooklyn thought the camels were cool.

Here's a cute little car.

Kurt liked the mini big rig.

There were a bunch of Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts walking.

Police tank.

And of course, Brooklyn's favorite... HORSES. When they went by she told them "Nay".

After the parade was over, Brooklyn was walking Grandpa and Grandma's dog all by herself. She thought that was pretty neat. She tries to walk Bailee, but Bailee has about 70 pounds on her... Bailee always wins.

It was a nice day for a parade and a great event to get us out of the house!
