Can This Kid Get Any Cuter?

For some reason, Brooklyn LOVES to wear this bucket on her head. She puts it on there herself and runs around the house all day. It's so dang cute!

She had to load up all her babies in the shopping cart and take them for a ride. When one falls out, she says "uh oh" and shoves him back in. She is such a character.

Nothing like having french toast sticks in her cup while watching her morning cartoons.

Yumm! Does life get any better than this?

I just adore this little girl. She brings so much joy into our lives and I just can't get enough of her!

A Splish Splash Kind of Day!

It's that time of year again... Break out the swim suits!

My dad inflated his pool and put it at the bottom of the jungle gym so when the kids went down the slide, they made a big splash!

Brooklyn likes to ease her way in and play with the toys before she gets wet.

Then she starts to get brave and check out what the water is all about. She loves taking a bath, but I guess this is a bit colder still.

Don't worry... she finally decides it's fun and gets in.

I caught this picture right before Tanner plowed into Brooklyn at the bottom of the slide. Oops. She dunked her head on that one. Once Brooklyn figured out the slide, I couldn't keep her off it. I didn't get any pictures of her going down though since I was trying to keep her from drowning :)

And there's nothing like snacking on a cheese stick after a long day of playing in the water!

Can this kid get any cuter?

We had such a fun afternoon. I'm sure there are plenty more of those in store for us this summer!

Grandma's Birthday

My Grandma's birthday was last week so a bunch of us took her lunch and spent the afternoon with her. Here is Brooklyn all dolled up and ready to party!

We had Subway for lunch. Yumm!

And then the kids worked off their lunch, and some of their energy, on the treadmill. My uncle kept turning the speed faster and faster and their little feet did a great job keeping up!

Sitting on Grandma's lap.

Helping Great Grandma open her birthday cards!

Stealing Great Grandma's balloon.

I baked a red velvet cake, but since it was so hot and we drove the Ranger over to Grandma's, it sort of melted a little and the top layer slid. Oops.

My Grandma trying to get a picture with the great grandkids... keyword is "trying". It was mostly arms flying around. They didn't want to sit still.

The kids buckled in the back seat of the Ranger. This was actually the ride over to Grandma's, but it's out of order.

This is my parents' new Ranger. It's street legal, so we thought we'd surprise Grandma by pulling up in the new ride. She only lives a little over a mile away so we just took back roads. The kids LOVED it!

Riding in style.

Brooklyn checking out the cars on the way home.

Tanner passed out on the way home.

We had a fun afternoon. Happy Birthday Grandma!

Little Helper

We received a package from UPS the other day and Brooklyn thought she'd help out with it once it was in the house.

Makes a pretty good seat...

And of course she had to push it all over the house too.

Had to throw this one in... Best Buddies!!!

These two seem to be inseparable these days!
