A Good Looking Trio

I thought it would be fun to take some pictures of the kids in their brother/sister shirts before Madison outgrows hers.  Getting all 3 to smile at once... not an easy task.

Trenton's not looking and his hair is sticking up funny... And I cut off the top of Brooklyn's head.

Trenton making a goofy face.

Serious boy.

Let's try something different.

Caught Brooklyn in mid sentence so she has a silly face.

This one wins the prize! Madison is totally spitting up and I caught it mid stream.  Gotta love it!  Trenton must have thought it was cool.

Brooklyn looking cute, Madison falling over, and Trenton wondering why we're still taking pictures.

I just love this group!  Some days I feel like I have my hands full, but I wouldn't trade it for anything!

Bucy Family Reunion

We just spent a long weekend in Indiana to attend the Bucy Family Reunion.  Kurt's grandfather is one of 12 children, so as you can imagine, Kurt's dad has more cousins than he can count.      They had a nice lunch and showed old family videos, pictures, etc.  It was fun!

Didn't get everyone in a picture at once, but here's a good idea of how many there were!

Kids had a good time running around and playing with the other little ones.

This is pretty much what Madison did for the entire reunion.  We flew in late the night before and had to wake up early so none of us got much sleep.  I was happy she was able to rest instead of being cranky the whole afternoon.

Grandma and Grandpa Bucy weren't able to travel to attend the reunion so we spent a lot of time visiting with them at their house.

Great Grandma Bucy and Madison:

Grandma Bucy and the girls.  We haven't been to IN since Brooklyn was a baby so it was nice for the grandparents to see all the kids!

This was so sweet.  Madison was just staring up at her as Grandma smiled back.  Grandma Bucy is such a sweet lady.  I just adore her.  I loved sitting back and watching her enjoy the kids!

Grandpa Bucy had a hatchet that was handed down to him from his grandfather.  It's been passed down in the family over the years from grandfather to grandson so now it was his turn to pass it along to Kurt.   I had to laugh when Trenton came in the room and Kurt said "No pressure buddy, but you need to make sure you have a son someday so I can pass this along."

Grandma Bucy and Aunt Linda.  This is a nice picture!

The kids entertaining themselves.

Trenton was checking out Great Grandpa's scooter.   I wasn't sure if that was going to scare him or not.  He was intrigued.  And he kept wanting to give Grandpa high fives all afternoon.  It was cute!

Great Grandpa telling Brooklyn a story.  She really enjoyed him too!  She kept calling him the "other grandpa" and would go looking for him so she could say hi.  He made this really neat toy out of wood and gave it to her.  She won't leave it alone.  She loves it!

Kurt, his grandma and the kids.  (Madison looks so tiny up against her daddy).

4 generations of Bucy men!  I was so happy to get this picture since this was the 1st time all four of them have been under the same roof.  I was going to get the girls in here next, but everyone scattered.

Trenton having fun with Uncle Glen.  He really took to him this weekend.  Every time he'd see him, he'd start saying "Hi Uncle Gwen".  His l's sound like w's right now so it was cute!

And of course once Brooklyn saw Trenton upside down, she wanted in on that action too!

Madison got to take her baths in the big tub at the hotel.  She thought that was fun!

Must have been bright in our room.  She needed her shades.  (and that's the toy that Great Grandpa Bucy made for her.  He sure is handy with wood working).

He had to have his shades on too!   Monkey see, monkey do!

The first night, we had the kids sharing a bed in the hotel and that didn't go over very well.  They are not used to that and wouldn't stay on their own sides. And the beds were so tall that I kept worrying Trenton would fall out.  So the next couple nights Kurt fixed them cozy beds on the floor.  We ALL slept better after that!

This was at the airport before our flight home.  Traveling with 3 kids 3 and under was definitely a challenge with all the stuff we had to take along and getting everyone off their schedules, but they did a great job!  They were all so good on both flights too!

We were so happy we were all able to make this trip!
