Easter 2010

This was my favorite picture of Brooklyn this Easter. She looked so pretty all dressed up!

We had lunch at the park with some friends the Saturday before. This little girl LOVED it. She could run around for hours!

We had an egg hung for the kids. There were a bunch of eggs on the ground for the babies and then really hidden for the older kids. The hunt hadn't started yet, but Brooklyn decided it would be fun to get a head start.

Of course she thought the bouncing animals were great!

Then when all the kids arrived and it was time for the egg hunt, Brooklyn didn't want anything to do with it. She decided to fill her bucket with dirt instead :)

Dying Easter eggs at home.

Brooklyn is still a bit young to actually help, so we gave her some plastic eggs to "help" with. She kept putting them on the plate to dry with the ones I was doing.

The finished product.

And Easter Bunny came to our house. He left animal crackers instead of candy! What a treat!

The look on Brooklyn's face when she first saw her basket Easter morning. What a cutie!

Checking out her loot.

All dressed up and ready to go to my Grandma's house.

My aunt brought a little table for the kids. I told the girls to look at the camera and of course Brooklyn had to shove a whole piece of cheese in her mouth first. Aren't you supposed to say "cheese" for the camera and not really eat it? :)

I have no idea what this face is for, but it was cracking me up.

We had another egg hunt. Only this time she was actually getting into it.

The kids found a swing in the neighbors yard and were checking it out. Right after I took this picture, cousin pushed the swing and it smacked Brooklyn right in the mouth. Ouch. She wasn't exactly standing in a great spot.

She found out there was candy in the eggs, but was more interested in the wrappers. That was fine with me.

We had another great Easter with the family.

How fun for her! It is so fun when they get older and more into all the holidays each year!
