Tummy Time

I put Trenton on his little tummy time mat so he could lift his head and play. He actually liked it. Brooklyn used to hate tummy time when she was a baby.

But of course now whatever Trenton does, Brooklyn has to do too. She used the bigger Boppy pillow and had to have a mat underneath her too. She's so silly.

I don't know who was having more fun!

When Trenton started getting mad, I flipped him over on his back... so of course that's what Brooklyn had to do too. But first, Minnie needed play time as well. And no, I was not the one who staged this picture, it was all Brooklyn.

Then she had to "rest". Don't you love her resting face?

Of course you need a blanket to rest. (or a play mat pretending to be a blanket)

All this playing made for sleepy eyes on my little man.

These two are so much fun!

What We've Been Up To...

I just realized I hadn't updated in a while... so here you go!

Trenton likes falling asleep with someone's hand on his belly. When the hand moves, he starts wiggling around and waking up. So I propped one of Brooklyn's toys on him and he's fast asleep. I guess we need to get him a sock monkey like my mom used to lay over my brother so he would sleep! Shortly after I took this picture, Brooklyn went up to him and said "My Baby" and stole the toy and he woke up...

Going for an afternoon walk in our cool racing stroller! Brooklyn loves having a front row seat!

Trenton likes to use our walk time as his nap time.

Daddy made a fort for Brooklyn out of her house and Trenton's play mat. She loved it.

Now she keeps telling him to make a house for her.

We finally have enough hair to pull it into a ponytail... Hooray!

Brooklyn and cousin Tanner pretending they were dogs. And yes, they locked themselves in the cage on their own. Silly gooses. They were crawling around barking and panting for quite a while.

I can't believe how fast the time goes. Trenton is already 7 weeks old and Brooklyn will be 2 next month.

Little Mommy

Brooklyn has gotten used to having a baby brother. She even likes to help take care of him. She wants to change his diaper.


She finally decided to hold him and thought he was pretty cool.

She even likes to give him kisses.

Since she's had so much practice with baby brother, she has become quite the little mommy with her dolls. Trenton was passed out on the couch so she thought baby Chrissy needed a rest with him.

She tucked this baby away nice and snug in the swing. And yes, she's even buckled in.

Baby Chrissy gets wrapped up in blankets and carried around the house like Mommy carries Trenton. She even gets her diaper changed and burped as well.

And a little play time too!

Brooklyn is such a good mommy to her babies. And she has so much fun doing it. I guess she takes after her mommy :)
