I Absolutely LOVE My Nursery!!!

I have the most wonderful husband and mom. They painted the nursery last week while I was at work. I had an idea in my head as to what I wanted and left the two of them with instructions. They followed them perfectly! :)

After the paint was finished, I went in with some craft paint and did the accents of the hills and the grass on the mural wall. All the ladybugs and dragonflies are wall appliques that match my bedding set and were easy to just stick up there.

The remaining 3 walls are just stripes! Kurt even pulled out his laser level and made sure they were all perfect and not crooked!

There are some more ladybug accessories I still want to put in the room to complete it (hamper, wall hangings, lamp, mobile, etc), but I'm not shopping for anything else until after my baby shower...

We also have matching curtains to hang, but haven't gotten around to that just yet. The room will probably be 100% complete in the next couple weeks.

I'm getting so excited and just love how it's turning out! Now all we need is this little baby girl ! 6 more weeks!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG....it turned out SO CUTE! I remember when I did my first nursery...I would go sit in the room all day and night trying to picture me and my little baby in the room. SO FUN! Now Cankles...not fun. You are almost there, you're in the home-stretch!

Wow Shannon that baby is already spoiled :)! Her room looks absolutely beautiful! You did a great job with it and the painting looks great!!! That probably just makes you more excited for her to come knowing things are ready for her :) That will be fun to see it in real life to when I can ever get over to your place to see it :) Keep it up and you will have everything put together quick!

Oh and cute blog background! Brandon's sister is actually the one who designs and is in charge of the cutestblogontheblock website with another girl :) It's so fun to see people using her blogs she's made :)

I love how the nursery turned out! Kurt did an awesome job with those perfectly straight lines, it's hard to paint like that! I'm amazed at how patient you've been with the nursery, I would be waaaay too impatient to get it done like at 3 months pregnant! LOL..

Guess what?!?! I just found out Today that my brother and his girlfriend from CA are coming this weekend to visit us... I had NO idea they were coming till today and I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it to the shower! ;o(
I feel bad just leaving them here since they're guests, you know. Not to mention it's the first time they are coming to visit us in years. I will try to see what I can do, but if I cant make it I will send your baby shower gift with Robert so he can give to Kurt.

If anything changes, I'll let you know. I'm excited they're coming over, but bummed that they chose this weekend!
