Kurt has decided to do some remodeling before the baby comes.... Our downstairs was all carpet in the living room and den, and linoleum in the dining, kitchen and bathroom.
Since our dog is an indoor dog, she sheds all over the place and the hair just works its way down in the carpet. No matter how much vacuuming we do, we can never rid it of hair.
Here are some before pics:
Well, we can't quite get rid of the dog just because we're adding to the family... so to clean things up a bit, our whole downstairs is going to be ceramic tile. Kurt is doing the work himself which will save us a ton of money.
Here are some of the inbetween pics... Kurt has ripped up all the flooring and our whole downstairs is concrete now.

That will make things so much easier to keep clean. You could just run a vacuum over the tile. Im excited to see the results :)
Hey! I had a dream about going over to your house the other night!! It didn't look excactly like that... That's such a good idea with the dog hair etc. Your 4 months along now!! Actually more than that! Only a couple more weeks until you find out!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sooo excited! I will let you know in 6 days what my little baby is :) Hope you are doing great and feeling good!
Thanx for your phone call-it made my day! i'm sooo excited for you and this sweet little baby! You are in your nesting stage- how fun!! Love you!
Wow - what an undertaking! It will be so nice when it's done though and I can't wait to see after pics!!!!
wow, what a job! Way to go! That will be nice once it is finished!!
I hope the baby doesn't hurt "itself" when he/she tries to walk/crawl. My sister-in-law has her whole downstairs tiled and kind of had that problem.
Sorry, do show us the after pics though, it will be nice to see!!
Looks like fun!!! That's all exciting and every thing, but what I'm really excited to see is what color the babies room is gonna be!!! he he he! Thanks for coming over and for the cute stuff, but the outfit will never fit him, he's gonna stay this little forever right?!! Love ya!
What a project! Not a lot of fun, but definitely worth it in the end! Good luck!
Ohhh, I love remodeling pics. Can't wait to see it all finished!
